Well, if you purchased one of Tayst’s compostable single-use coffee pods* over the last twelve months, you’ve done your part in helping to stop the spread of trash and help create a better world with our plastic-free coffee. We’ve sold about 25 million compostable coffee pods*, and what does this mean? This means that there’s a lot less plastic floating around on planet Earth. These environmentally friendly coffee pods aren’t just about bragging rights though, with your help we’ve helped to create a better world for future generations.
Of course, 25 million pods are no joke, but what do 25 million pods mean? The average plastic coffee pod is made of about 2.5 grams of plastic. That means that Tayst Coffee has prevented about 137,788 pounds of plastic from filling up our landfills! And this doesn’t even include all the eco-friendly coffee packaging our pods are delivered in or the eco-friendly single-serve coffee makers we provide. Helping to create plastic-free coffee and a plastic-free planet is our mission. From the start, we believed (and still do) that creating a delicious sustainable coffee brand wasn’t about flashy appearances, it was about creating good coffee that’s delivered to you in a compostable* coffee product. That is the magic of Tayst Coffee. We can’t wait to see what is in store for us in the year 2023, but all we know is that it’s about time to brew another eco-friendly cup of coffee.
