Brewed a little too much coffee? Don’t throw it out! There are tons of uses for leftover coffee, so you’re not wasting your precious java.
1. Iced Coffee
The most simple and easy way to reuse leftover coffee is to turn it into tomorrow’s iced coffee! Once it’s brewed, all you have to do is put it in a travel mug or enclosed container and pop it in the refrigerator.
If you’re like us and need all the coffee you can get, elevate your iced coffee with coffee ice cubes. Rather than having a watered down coffee with regular ice cubes, take some of that leftover coffee you just brewed and pour it into a clean ice cube tray. By tomorrow morning your fully loaded iced coffee will be calling your name.
2. Baking with Coffee
Another great use for leftover coffee is to cook or bake with it. Coffee lovers can rejoice because you don’t have to be limited to just your cup of joe in the morning to get your coffee fix. 3. Water Your Plants
There are some plants out there that love coffee just as much as you! Make sure you’re not using any coffee that has milk or creamer in it; you’ll want just the brewed coffee. Once your coffee is cooled down, you should measure out a 1:1 ratio of coffee to water to dilute the coffee. Now you can water acid loving plants like African violets, azaleas, hydrangeas, hyacinths, aloe, roses and more!
